Day 1

On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. Check in and overnight at hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, visit the Changu Narayan, an ancient Hindu temple. Continue your visit to Bhaktpur, about 20 kms. east of the capital. This is a medieval city which was unfortunately, heavily damaged by the deadly earthquake in 2015. Some of the buildings that survived are prime examples of Nepali architecture. In the afternoon, visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of Hinduism’s most sacred places of worship, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple complex is located on the banks of Bagmat River. Make time to visit Bodhnath, famous for its pilgrimages that attract thousands of people from all over the world. Join the Tibetan monks and other pilgrims as they pray around the stupa.

Day 3

After breakfast drive to Pokhara, a beautiful city situated on the banks of the Phewa lake with spectacular scenery and a relaxing ambience. In the afternoon, walk along the banks of the lake and take a boat ride on the lake.

Day 4

After breakfast, begin your visit to Sarangkot, a small village situated at an altitude of 1600 meters. From here, there is an almost unobstructed view of Himalayas. The peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manalsu are visible so be sure to have your camera ready. In the afternoon, visit Bindyabasini Temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga.

Day 5

After breakfast, depart for the Chitwan National Park Chitvan located in the south of Nepal. The park acquired World Heritage Site status about 30 years ago and is home to leopards, elephants, tigers and bears.

Day 6

After breakfast, go on a safari in a jeep or on an elephant. Please check with your guide what other activities might be available in the park.

Day 7

After breakfast, depart for Kathmandu. Arrive and check-in at hotel and in the afternoon, visit Swayambhunath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is usually full of monkeys and even the deadly earthquake in 2015 didn’t deter them from continuing to mill around the temple. This is also where the oldest stupa of Nepal is located.

Day 8

After breakfast, visit Dhulikhel, a beautiful scenic village where you can see the everyday life of Nepalis. The village also provides some great viewpoints to admire the Himalayas. In the afternoon, return to your hotel.

Day 9

After breakfast, visit the iconic Durbar square and Kumari temple in the capital then drive to the old capital of Patan, about 20 kms. away. Visit its quieter, historic district that is full of artisan shops. The city is also home to many international NGOs and the UN.

Return to Kathmandu and overnight in hotel.

Day 10

In early morning, transfer to the airport for your return flight. Our representative will take you to airport and our tour ends.
